Typically Asked Questions

How Does Buying In Bulk Work?

By reaching out to us with a beef inquiry, we can establish a relationship and confirm your order with our availability. After confirmation, we haul the steer to the processor on the selected date where we give your contact information to the processor. The processor will discuss specific cutting and packaging requests with you. If you are unfamiliar with the cut sheet, we are able to provide guidance to your decisions. For example, if you want a lot of ground beef, few roasts, and little steaks, we can suggest how to organize your request on the sheet. YOU are responsible for picking up your meat from the processor. We currently utilize processors in Washington Court House and the surrounding areas.

How Does The Payment Process Work?

When buying in bulk, you pay the producer (us) for the quality raising and safe transport to the facility and you pay the processor for their services.

What Kind Of Meat Breakdown Can I Expect?

The usual breakdown ratio is 25% steaks, 35% roasts, 40% ground beef, and an assortment of soup bones and organ meats. You can share your targeted ratio with your processor and they can try their best to accommodate. An example of this would be wanting more or less ground beef.
